Patient Information 

Some useful information below.

New patient?

Please contact us if you wish to arrange an intial examination appointment. We are always happy to welcome new patients and re-welcome old faces! 


Due to capacity restrictions in the COVID 19 pandemic we are not currently taking on new NHS patients for routine care. We continue to triage any patients requiring urgent care in line with NHS guidance.


Please ask for more details if you would like to register for purely private treatment. Services are available either on a pay-as-you-go basis or via our Practice Plan membership scheme.

Preventative care: check-up at least once a year

Generally, you should come for a check-up at least once a year to make sure that you are looking after your teeth properly and to have their condition checked.


Potential problems identified early are often easier to treat than if they are left to progress.

Your dentist will advise you on how often you should be seen at your check up appointment. We use NHS NICE Guidelines to help us establish how often this should be, ranging from every 3 months for patients at high risk of dental disease, to every 2 years for those at lowest risk.

Cancelling appointments

Please give us as much notice as possible if you are unable to attend your appointment. 


We reserve the right to refuse to see patients who repeatedly miss appointments or make cancellations at short notice. We regard cancellations with less than 24 hours notice in the same regard as missed appointments.

Feedback and Complaints

We value all patient feedback we received, be it positive or negative, and look to act on suggestions made. Please feel free to email feedback, or if you wish to provide this in an anonymous manner, a comments box is provided at the practice for this purpose. 


Patients wishing to make a formal complaint should contact Victoria or John Gamon at the practice. 


A copy of our complaints procedure can be found on the patient documents page. This includes details of who to contact if you are not happy with the practice's response to your complaint.


Your personal information and how we use it

We treat how we handle our patient's personal information very seriously and comply with requirements of the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).
